Preserving these signs through photography has become an interest of mine. Capturing the form of a building during a specific time in history is surprisingly rewarding. Serving as testaments to the past, these signs reflect the evolution of local commerce and industry found in the Keweenaw, bringing a sense of nostalgic charm.
